The Grammar Rules! series for Years 1–6 has been updated to support the latest version of the Australian Curriculum. The series features a fresh design, and new activities and units to support students learning to read, write, speak, listen to, create and reflect on a variety of text types across a range of contexts. Each student workbook is based on a different theme to allow teachers and students to focus on the way language is structured in different types of texts. These new editions also feature First Nations Australian texts, authors and perspectives, as well as other multicultural perspectives, to better represent contemporary Australian communities and classrooms.

Grammar Rules! includes two teacher resource books for Years 1–2 and 3–6. Each teacher resource book includes helpful information about methods of teaching grammar and language, extra activities for each unit, and answers for the student workbooks. A digital download code is provided in each teacher resource book to access extra documents to use in your classroom, such as punctuation charts, grammar rules and tips, and reproducibles.

Returns and Refunds

Refunds and returns are not accepted by Matilda unless the customer has received an unordered item, or an item damaged in transit, or a faulty item, or as otherwise required by law. We aim to provide replacement copies of undelivered or returned items when requested, but Matilda Education is only obligated to refund purchase costs. Please note that Matilda Education will not refund returns postage and packing charges.

  • Provide images of the damaged item, or of the cover of an item that was not ordered.
